As a Level II Registered Nurse on our Med-Surg Telemetry unit, you will be responsible for providing competent, evidence-based care to patients with a variety of medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, you will be entrusted with leadership duties, including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee participation.

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to med-surg telemetry patients

Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond to critical changes

Lead by example in a charge nurse role, guiding staff during shift assignments

Precept and mentor new nursing staff members

Participate in departmental committees and quality improvement initiatives

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations

Certifications

Active NY RN License

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Med-Surg or Telemetry

Telemetry experience

BLS Certification

ACLS and PALS preferred
